How clients update their personal information, billing details, preferred currency, and password.

    The client profile is at Client → Profile (/client/profile). It is organised into tabs: Profile, Contacts, Security, and API Tokens.

    [!IMPORTANT] Your billing address appears on every invoice generated for your account. If your company name or address changes, update it here before your next invoice is generated. Already-issued invoices are not retroactively updated.

    Tax ID / VAT Number

    Enter your VAT registration number in the Tax ID field. If you are a VAT-registered business in the EU, this may trigger reverse-charge tax treatment (zero VAT on invoices if your hosting provider has EU reverse-charge configured). Contact support if you are unsure whether reverse charge applies to your account.

    Preferred Currency

    The Billing currency dropdown sets which currency is used for new invoices and store prices displayed to you. Changing this setting takes effect on new invoices — existing unpaid invoices retain their original currency.

    [!TIP] The available currencies are those your hosting provider has enabled. If your preferred currency is not listed, contact support.

    Preferred Language

    If the portal supports multiple languages, a Language dropdown appears. Changing this updates the portal UI language for your account and the language used in system emails sent to you.


    Saving Changes

    Click Save Changes at the bottom of the profile form to apply your updates. A success message confirms the save. All profile changes are logged in the account activity log visible to staff.


    Changing Your Password

    The password change form is at the bottom of the Profile tab.

    1. Enter your current password.
    2. Enter a new password (minimum 8 characters).
    3. Confirm the new password.
    4. Click Update Password.

    [!IMPORTANT] If you have forgotten your current password and cannot log in, use the Forgot password? link on the login page instead. The password change form on the profile page requires you to be already authenticated.


    Custom Fields

    If your hosting provider has defined custom client fields (e.g. "How did you find us?", "VAT verified"), any that are marked as visible to clients appear as additional fields on the profile page. Fill these in and save as normal.


    Activity Log

    All profile changes (address updates, password changes, currency changes) are logged with a timestamp and IP address. Staff can view this log at Admin → Clients → [Client] → Activity Log. Clients cannot view their own activity log directly.
